Before you call

Two things make the first conversation useful. The first is the year, make, and model, because on these brands the model year decides half the answer: whether your 2.0T has port injectors, which DSG is in the car, whether that Volvo has air suspension. The second is what the car is actually doing, in plain words. A noise on turns, a light that comes on cold, a corner that sits low in the morning. You do not need to know the part.

If a fault code has been read somewhere else, bring the code. It names a circuit rather than a broken part, which is exactly why a second opinion on one is worth having.

What happens next

The car gets scanned, the fault gets confirmed against the symptom rather than assumed from the light, and you get told what was found before anything is authorized. Pick-up and drop-off is available if getting the car here is the hard part.
